People encountering the Spirit

At the beginning of this year, I had a growing desire to spend more time, building relationship with and reaching out to those who don’t have a relationship with Jesus, as a lot of what I do involves those who already have that relationship.

Since February, I’ve been volunteering with a ministry called ‘Christalignment’, who work with people involved in New Age spiritualities and people of other religions. We run a stall at Dandenong Market in Melbourne (see pic above) and have a steady flow of people who come to us for spiritual readings. We also put up stalls at many New Age festivals, where we are usually the only Christian presence, offering people the opportunity to encounter Jesus.

It’s been a real eye-opener to me to discover that tens of thousands of Australians are involved in New Age practices and are very spiritually open. And because we present ourselves in a way that is familiar to them, we don’t even have to go looking for them. We just set up and they come to us!

We have so many testimonies of people who encounter Jesus in the ‘Destiny Readings’ and ‘Encounters with the Christ Spirit’ that we offer and a number who surrender their lives to Jesus and start following Him, as a result.

In August, I volunteered at the Christalignment stall in the ‘Boho Luxe Festival’ in Melbourne and then again at the ‘Mind Body Spirit Festival’ this last weekend.

This month, would you please pray for these people, whom our team meets at the Dandenong Market and at these festivals, through the Christalignment stall? Please pray:
– for the watering of the seeds that have been planted by the Spirit
– for the people to re-engage the encounter with the Spirit at home, using the meditation card we give them.
– for protection for them being exposed to dark spirits & their deceitfulness
– for each of them to come to a place of full surrender of their lives to Jesus.
